Job Details:

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson Foods will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.

This position pays $19.95/hour plus shift premium with overtime.

This facility operates six days a week and produces Corn Dogs.

Position is responsible for operating production machine equipment such as Cookers, Fryers, Packing Machinery, and other equipment as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interpret daily production schedule

• Operate assigned production equipment per product specifications

• Determine equipment adjustments and material requirements

• Compile and record production data and reports on volume of production

• Prepare equipment for production and test runs

Perform troubleshooting and preventing maintenance

• Operate and observe equipment operation to detect work piece defects or equipment malfunction, and measure work piece dimensions to determine accuracy

• Ensure work area is clean at all times

• Record keeping and attention to detail

• Ensure work area is clean at all time

• Follow department standards

Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have three months of machine operator experience listed in job history

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 45 pounds repeatedly during shift

• Some areas must require repetitive lifting up to 75 pounds during Shift

• Must stand on hard concrete floors for up to 10 hours per day

• Must work in cold/hot temperatures ranging from 40-75 degrees on a routine basis

• Must work in wet and/or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas.

• Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, and pinching, climbing stairs and/or ladders

• Use of Personal Protective Equipment

• Wet and/or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas

• Position will require Lock Out Tag Out certification.

• Knowledge of basic food processing compliance, FDA, USDA, and EPA is preferred.

• Must be able to work overtime and weekends and other duties as assigned by Management
