Summary Statement:   Under the general supervision of the Production Supervisor, the employee in this position operates an automatic or simple manual industrial machine following all established work and safety procedures.
Essential Job Functions
•    Perform an equipment safety check at the beginning of each shift, notifying supervisor of any concerns.
•    Feed machine using provided resources.
•    Monitor machine for proper operation, notifying supervisor of any problems/concerns regarding item being processed and/or any problems with the machine.
Marginal Job Functions
•    Assist other department personnel as time and knowledge permit.
•    Participate in training and meetings as requested.
•    Perform other duties as assigned.

QualificationsSkills, Knowledge, and Abilities
•    Must be able to stand or sit (depending on machinery being used) over an extended period of time.
•    Must be able to stoop and bend over an extended period of time.
•    Must be able to work professionally as a part of a team with other department employees.
•    Must be able to comprehend and perform duties using established work and safety procedures.
