The Opportunity

We’re hiring a highly skilled Machine Operator and Machinist who can step into a fast-paced, precision machining environment and make an immediate impact.

This is not an entry-level position — we’re looking for an individual who understands machining fundamentals, thrives on producing quality parts, and enjoys working with advanced technology and equipment.

You’ll be part of a growing manufacturing team that values autonomy, accuracy, and pride in getting the job done right the first time.

Location: Alexandria, MN

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm

Targeted Compensation Range: $18 to $25/hour

What You’ll Do

• Operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, Mazak, and related equipment).

• Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and technical drawings with precision and attention to detail.

• Maintain tight tolerances and uphold quality standards in every part produced.

• Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed to ensure smooth production flow.

• Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections to verify specifications.

• Monitor production runs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure on-time delivery.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area consistent with company 5S and safety standards.

• Partner with engineers and supervisors to improve processes and increase efficiency.

Who You Are

• A skilled machine operator with a strong mechanical aptitude and pride in producing quality work.

• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Comfortable operating multiple machines or learning new technologies in a precision environment.

• Committed to safety, teamwork, and craftsmanship.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing or metals environment.

• Hands-on experience with CNC and/or manual lathes and mills (Mazak experience highly preferred).

• Ability to read blueprints, micrometers, calipers, and gauges

• Familiarity with ISO or QMS standards a plus.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
