Job Description

Shift: 2:30pm-1am.

Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour.

As a Machine Operator at INTEX Millwork Solutions, you will play a critical role in our production process by operating and maintaining machinery to produce top-quality millwork products. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Machinery: Set up, operate, and monitor machines to produce products according to specifications.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make adjustments as needed.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and minor troubleshooting.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Documentation: Accurately record production data, including materials used, products produced, and any issues encountered.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and resolve any production challenges.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Prior experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
  • Technical Skills: Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to understand machine operations and troubleshooting.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality in production.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
