The Machine Operator II is responsible for the advanced operation and maintenance of complex machinery and equipment in a manufacturing or production environment. This role involves overseeing the production process, ensuring quality standards, performing advanced troubleshooting, and coordinating with team members to maintain efficient operations. The Machine Operator II works under minimal supervision and may be responsible for training and guiding less experienced operators.

Your Profile / Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED: Required foundational education, providing essential skills in math, reading, and problem-solving.
Complex Machinery Operation: Proficiency in operating and managing sophisticated machinery and equipment, understanding their functions and settings.
Mechanical Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical Effective Interaction: Clear communication with supervisors, maintenance personnel, quality control inspectors, and team members to coordinate tasks and resolve issues.
Training Abilities: Skill in training and guiding less experienced operators and sharing knowledge effectively and perform advanced repairs.

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $20 - $26 per hour. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States. The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
