Summary Description:
This position will involve running equipment and performing a degree of maintenance.  The position requires an individual to read work orders and inspect work they perform.  The individual will be responsible for working in a safe manner, producing product in an efficient manner, performing change overs, packing product and transferring the product to a new location. It is important that this position possess the willingness to accept change and be proactive rather than reactive.
What will your day look like?
- Run automatic packaging equipment.
- Verify the proper components are being assembled.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Document in process and end of line inspection.
- Perform change overs on equipment.
- Replace simple mechanical wear parts.
- Keep an accurate count on production.
- Label finished goods with part number and quantity.
- Pack goods directly on to pallets, in displays or holding trays.
- Notify supervisor of any safety issues.
- Willingness to work in other departments.
- This position requires ability to work 8/10hr shifts and OT on Friday/Saturday as needed.  Frequent and repetitive lifting is required.
- Ability to manage and communicate effectively.
- Ensure all safety guidelines are followed by you and each member of the team and that all safety violations are reported properly and immediately.
- Must take training and operate electric walkie as needed.
- Maintain a safety first mindset.

QualificationsWhat will you bring to the table?
Education:
-  High School education or equivalent.
-  Leadership experience preferred.
- 1-day Train the trainer certified.
Specific Skills:
- Must possess excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Should be goal oriented, confident, outgoing, and able to work well under pressure and succeed within a competitive environment.
- Demonstrate good judgment.
- Must be able to work independently and demonstrate effective initiative.
- Basic mechanical skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Basic computer skills preferred (i.e. Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word).
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stoop, reach, stand, walk, lift, pull, push, grasp, talk, hear, see and use repetitive motions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may frequently lift and or move up to 50 pounds of material, boxes, etc. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision such as reading handwritten and or typed material and must have the ability to focus.
