As a Machine Operator 1 in our Memphis manufacturing site, you will play a hands on role in producing high quality medical technology that improves lives around the world. Location: Mansfield MA

Shift: Monday-Friday 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm

What will you be doing?

• Operating production machinery to manufacture products in line with safety, quality and productivity standards

• Performing routine equipment checks and basic adjustments to ensure smooth operation

• Following standard operating procedures and work instructions with a strong attention to detail

• Completing required production and quality documentation accurately and on time

• Identifying and escalating equipment or process issues to support continuous improvement

• Working collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals

What will you need to be successful?

• 1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment

• Ability to operate machinery and follow detailed instructions and procedures

• Strong focus on safety, quality and consistency

• Basic computer or documentation skills

• Ability to work shifts, stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks as required

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $20.31 - $32.57 hourly. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role at Smith + Nephew. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
