Principal Responsibilities:
1. Assists in the set up and operation of one or more machines throughout the department.
2. Must learn how to use hand torch, buffers, and grinders.
3. Read and interpret cut sheets and blueprints for production orders.
4. Use measuring equipment, micrometers, calipers, tape measures and other tools
5. proficiently and productively.
6. Use material handling equipment including over-head and jib cranes safely and
7. proficiently.
8. Remove scrap from torch tables and within the department.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned within the department.
Qualifications
Position Qualifications: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
1. One year + experience with fabrication equipment preferred.
2. Ability to read a tape measure and other measuring devices.
3. Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
4. Successfully complete a TK measure and blueprint evaluation
5. Demonstrate a positive attitude, work ethic and ability to work within a team.

5. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
6. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to dust, fumes and is near moving machinery.
