Your Role & Impact

As a Machine Operator Helper, you are an essential part of the production team, working directly on our powerful Cut-To-Length machine. You’ll take ownership of the stacker gate operations to keep materials moving safely and efficiently. You aren't just pushing buttons—you are the final line of defense for quality, carefully inspecting the steel, counting precision cuts, and tagging materials so our customers get exactly what they ordered.

The Work Environment (What to Expect)

This job isn’t for everyone, and we take pride in that you will do well here if you are energized by a hard day's work.

• Schedule: 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM), Monday through Friday—keep your weekends free!
• Active Work: You’ll be on your feet, walking, standing, and staying active for up to 8 hours a day.
• Physical Strength: Frequent lifting, pushing, or pulling of material up to 51 lbs.
• The Elements: This is a real-world industrial environment. You’ll work through the changing seasons (heat and cold) and you will get some dirt on your hands.
• Fast-Paced: The environment changes quickly, keeping your days interesting and rewarding.

Who We Are Looking For

Basic Requirements:

• 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license
• Basic math and computer skills
• Basic literacy to read work instructions and safely use hand tools
