Founded in 1984, Best Formulations LLC, a diversified nutraceutical and personal care company headquartered in City of Industry, California, is a contract manufacturer of thousands of branded SKUs, including high quality nutritional supplements including softgels, tablets, capsules, powders, teas, dietary supplements, and vegetarian softgels.

As a Machine Operator Gummy , you will be responsible to gather and weigh the necessary ingredients and materials, and efficiently utilizes production equipment and executes standard process methods to produce quality products for the Gummy Production Department.

How will you contribute:

• Support and assist setup activities of the manufacturing process.
• Assist in the cooking, dosing, depositing, and post-processing of bulk gummy products.
• Ensure all documentation including batch records, logbooks, and other official batch related documentation has been completed on-time, and accurately.
• Feed and maintain raw ingredients into hoppers, mix tanks, or other manufacturing equipment.
• Perform pre-weighing, batching, curing, and bulk packaging of manufactured product.
• Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and housekeeping organization.
• Follows established department SOP's, and cGMP regulations.
• Adhere to and comply with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
• Report any safety concerns to management.
• Maintains a safe work environment and operates in a safe manner.
• Perform other job duties related to the job, as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements/

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED Certificate.
• Minimum 6-months experience in a fast-paced GMP/FDA regulated environment or relatable industry
• Any combination of experience, education, and training that provides the level of knowledge, skills, and experience needed to successfully perform the job.

Work Environment:

• Noise level for this work environment is typically low to moderate. Some work areas require hearing protection for an 8-hour work day.
• Required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time during the course of work shift.
• Routinely required to stoop, bend, kneel, lift, reach, pull, push and tilt object in the performance of job function.
• Work environment may involve exposure to allergens such as Soy, Wheat, Fish, Shell Fish, Milk, Egg, Tree nuts, and Sesame.

Schedule: This is an alternative work schedule. Opening on day shift.

Alternating 4 x 10/2 & 3 x 10/2

Alternating Workweeks of Four (4) and Three (3) 12-hour work days, where ten (10) of the hours are paid at straight time and two (2) of the hours are paid at time-and-a-half

Base Hourly

Range: $18.00 - $20.00, based on candidate's professional experience level. Employees are eligible to participate in Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Holidays, Vacation, Tuition Reimbursement Program.

The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
