Machine Operator - Class B
Location: 597 Evergreen Rd, Strafford, MO 65757
Schedule: Tuesday-Friday | 5:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay: $18.50-$19.00 per hour
American Products is hiring a Machine Operator - Class B to operate Laser or Turret machines in our manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, and interested in learning CNC machine operation.
Responsibilities
• Operate Laser or Turret machines to cut, punch, and form metal parts.
• Load and unload materials safely and accurately.
• Read work orders, blueprints, and production specifications.
• Inspect parts to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Record production information and material usage.
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work safely around manufacturing equipment.
