Compensation: $22.00/hr
The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. This role involves working with computer-controlled equipment to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. The Machine Operator works under moderate supervision and is expected to have or gain full proficiency in operating specific types of machinery including a Pellet mill and automatic bagging system.
This position is based in a manufacturing or production facility. The work environment may involve exposure to noise, dust, and moving mechanical parts. Safety equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed shoes may be required. The job typically involves standing for long periods, as well as bending, reaching, and lifting. Shift work may be required, including potential night shifts or weekends, depending on production schedules. The Machine Operator must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to maintain focus on repetitive tasks while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
