Abacus Staffing and one of our national partners are looking for Machine Operators in the Litchfield Park, AZ area.

Position: Machine Operators

Location: Litchfield Park, AZ

Schedule Available:

6am-6pm or 6pm-6am (4-3 12-hour schedule)

Pay Rate: $19.50/hr.-$21.50/hr.

Position Summary:

Controls the operation of a fast-paced production machine and visually inspects and performs quality audits of product on the line while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Job Duties:

1. Verifies that labels being run match SOP for the work order.
2. Monitors quantity of labels on the line and replaces labels when supply runs low.
3. Adjust machine operation to maintain predefined work order specifications.
4. Communicates with Line Lead regarding operational issues and machine productivity and assists in resolving problems as needed.
5. Assists in production line setup at the start of the shift and product changeovers on machines during the shift and ensures they are performed in a safe and efficient manner.
6. Performs quality checks of machine label application in accordance with specified requirements of work order and direction from Line Lead.
7. Performs basic troubleshooting of machine equipment.
8. Works close with Quality Technicians to check the product and ensure all specified requirements are met.
9. Removes labeled bottled with quality defects from the line for review by Quality Technician.
10. Communicates with Maintenance Technicians on any mechanical issues.
11. Complies with all sanitation and safety rules and regulations.
