We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing site in Bristol, Rhode Island
Shift Pattern:
Second Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm, Monday to Friday
Shift premium paid for hours worked on second shift
What You'll Be Doing
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating a range of processing equipment to support the production schedule whilst maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
Setting up equipment, tooling, raw materials, conveyors, and packaging systems
Preparing machinery for production, including pre-heating tools and loading programmes
Monitoring production processes to ensure quality and safety standards are met
Conducting routine quality checks and submitting production samples
Troubleshooting equipment issues, performing first-line maintenance, and supporting emergency shutdowns when required
Completing equipment shutdowns and changeovers in line with the production schedule
About You
We're looking for a motivated and reliable individual who can work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. You will have:
Strong mechanical aptitude
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement
Experience within a manufacturing environment (preferred)
Experience applying best-practice safety standards and continuous improvement methods
