Main Duties & Responsibilities

The assembly machine operator is responsible for operating a variety of assembly machines and inspecting product to guarantee product quality requirements.

This position is for 3rd Shift: 10:00pm-6:00am. This role is required to be on-site 5-6 days at the AUBUEN, IN location.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and healthy work practice by observing safely procedures and practices.
  • Operate equipment following the work instructions.
  • Strictly adhere to all work instructions and safety procedures
  • Inspect product and record results as required in the Quality Specifications.
  • Some Lifting Required – up to 50 lbs.
  • Climbing steps may be required
  • Other tasks are assigned as necessary to ensure production requirements are met
  • Immediately report any unsafe or unhealthy working condition to supervision/leadership.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.

Compensation:

This position has a step progression pay scale:

  • Starting - $18.28/hour
  • 6 months - $19.73/hour
  • 1 year - $22.36/hour
  • 2 years - $24.00/hour
  • 3 years - $25.71/hour

This shift qualifies for a shift premium.
