Summary
Quality and safety oriented manual machine operator. Work in an efficient manner to ensure smooth flow through shop. Willing to work overtime as needed. Keep a clean and organized shop. Willingness to learn new skills. The Machine Operator demonstrates a commitment to the PD core values of integrity, passion, possibility and the ability to work at the speed of retail.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Fosters a culture that values family, innovation, collaboration and empowerment
- Follows all safety and workplace policies
- Set up and operate manual mill
- Set up and operate manual lathe
- Operate various pedestal grinders, buffers, wire wheels
- Perform tasks while ensuring safety requirements are met
- Responsible for daily production and ensures that work is completed on-time and within quality standards
- Responsible for documenting accuracy and ensuring all inspection criteria are met
- Perform equipment maintenance as recommended
- May be asked to work in other departments as required by the business
- Follows all safety and workplace policies

Education/Certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prefer 2 year technical/business degree or equivalent experience
Experience
- 1-3 years experience operating manual machining equipment
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Walking, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling and lifting may be required throughout the workday
- Flexibility to travel between multiple PD locations
