As an extruder operator, you'll contribute to the success of the company by :

• setting up and monitoring extruder operation to detect sheet defects or machine malfunctions, making adjustments to create high quality plastic sheet
• conducting ongoing checks on the specifications of produced sheet
• adjusting the dies and cutting blades to attain order requirements
• consistently updating paper to ensure accurate inventory
• keeping the work area clean and safe
• working enthusiastically with other departments
• transporting, weighing, labeling and shipping completed rolls and sheet

As part of our team you'll:

• Be a star in running the machines to efficiently produce high quality roll stock with minimal scrap,

• Work 12 hour shifts - working 3 days then off for 4 days, then working 4 days and off 3 days (84 hours every 2 weeks = overtime pay).

Experience:

• plastics manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
• extrusion machine: 3 years (required)
