Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform final polishing of silicon optical parts using conventional polishing machines and tools.
• Set up polishing tools, pitch, slurry, and fixtures based on process requirements.
• Monitor and control parameters to achieve required surface quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Conduct in-process inspection to check for defects such as scratches, taper, or surface irregularities.
• Identify and report abnormalities or equipment issues.
• Record production data and follow standard operating procedures.

Education & Experience

• At least Senior High School or Technical/Vocational graduate.
• Experience in semiconductor, optics, or polishing processes is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of final polishing techniques and precision part handling is preferred
  

Skills

• Strong attention to detail and visual inspection ability.
• Ability to handle delicate optical parts with care.
• Basic knowledge of polishing parameters and defect recognition.
• Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in a production environment with polishing equipment.
• Requires standing for long periods and handling precision parts.
• Must follow safety and cleanliness procedures.
• 6-day work week, with possible Sunday overtime when shipment requirements are critical
