The Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating, monitoring, and maintaining assigned production equipment to ensure efficient, high-quality food manufacturing. This role plays a critical part in meeting production goals while adhering to all food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate assigned production machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Set up equipment and adjust machine settings as needed
- Monitor equipment performance and product quality throughout the production process
- Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards
- Perform routine cleaning of equipment and work areas
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or safety concerns to supervision
- Complete required production, quality, and safety documentation accurately and timely
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety guidelines, and HACCP requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with production, quality control, sanitation, and maintenance teams
- Comply with all company policies, OSHA requirements, and safety procedures

QualificationsTo be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Prior machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, food manufacturing experience a plus
- Ability to read and follow written instructions, SOPs, and safety procedures
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to complete required documentation and production records
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
- Ability to work in a production environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and temperature variations
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
