Your Role on Our Team

The Machine Operatoris responsible forperforming basic machine operation, working with computer-controlled equipment ormechanical basedmachines to make sure they are set up properly, workingwelland producing quality products.

You’llbe DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

  • Basic understanding of motor components and functions(40%)

  • Load/unload/inspect components to Operational Method Sheets (OMS) by use of proper gauging equipment in a safe and efficient manner(30%)

  • Make adjustmentsasrequiredfor change overs(30%)

  • Identify,troubleshootand correct minor machine time outs(20%)

  • Setup/Operate1 up/down workstations(20%)

  • Perform monthly PM requirements(10%)

  • Inform team leader about processes or equipment requiring attention(10%)

  • Complete rework and scrap documentation asrequiredor requested(10%)

  • Package service parts(10%)

  • Participate in completion of continuous improvement projects specifically designed to improve processes,productivityand quality, especially those related to corrective actions(10%)

  • Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area(10%)

  • Practice 5Ss(10%)

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents, drawings,and blueprints

  • Basic machine trouble-shooting skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
