About International Graphics
International Graphics is looking for an experienced Large Format & Digital Press Operator to join our production team in Stratford, Ontario. This is a hands-on role for a print professional who takes pride in colour accuracy, finishing quality, equipment performance, and getting jobs done right the first time.
The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time supporting our large format print division, operating HP Latex large format equipment for both rigid and flexible print applications. The role will also provide production support on our HP Indigo and Xerox small format digital presses as needed.
What You’ll Do
As our Large Format & Digital Press Operator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality large format print work while supporting daily print production across multiple platforms.
Your responsibilities:
Operate HP Latex large format equipment for rigid and flexible printing.
Prepare, RIP, colour-manage, and output files using Onyx RIP.
Review job tickets, artwork files, materials, and production requirements before printing.
Monitor print quality throughout production, including colour, registration, material handling, and finishing expectations.
Set up and run jobs efficiently while minimizing waste and downtime.
Perform routine equipment checks, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
Work with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain workflow through the large format department.
Support production on HP Indigo and Xerox small format digital presses when required.
Handle printed materials with care to ensure finished work meets International Graphics’ quality standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.
Communicate job status, production issues, material concerns, and equipment needs to the Production Supervisor.
Your Shift: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is a reliable, detail-oriented print operator with strong large format experience and a quality-first mindset.
You Must Have:
Minimum 3 years of experience in large format printing.
Hands-on experience operating large format print equipment.
Experience with HP Latex large format printing is strongly preferred.
Experience using Onyx RIP is required.
Strong understanding of print quality, colour, substrates, workflow, and production accuracy.
Ability to read and follow job tickets, production notes, and finishing instructions.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced print production environment.
Ability to support both large format and small format digital production as needed.
Valid driver’s licence is required.
Dependable, organized, and committed to producing high-quality work.
Requirements within this position:
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials.
Frequently required to move inside the facility.
Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry).
We Would Also Prefer:
Experience wrapping vehicles.
Experience producing or installing fleet graphics.
Familiarity with rigid substrates, flexible media, vinyl, banners, signs, decals, and display graphics.
Experience with HP Indigo or Xerox digital press operation.
