Looking for a reliable Monday through Friday evening shift role? Become a Machine Maintenance Technician and work a consistent 2:30pm to 10:30pm schedule while applying your skills to maintain essential machinery.

This position involves repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment through inspection, troubleshooting, and evaluation to identify root causes of problems. You will disassemble machines, repair or replace broken parts, and adjust functional components as needed. The role offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 2:30pm to 10:30pm with a competitive hourly pay rate plus shift differential.

• PAY RATE: $27/hr $1/hr shift differential
• LOCATION: Lenexa, KS 66219
• SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-10:30pm
• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Contract

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment through inspection, troubleshooting, and root cause evaluation.
• Disassemble machines and repair or replace broken parts.
• Adjust functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary.
• Clean and lubricate parts, order replacement parts, and inspect completed repairs.
• Adapt procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment to meet special needs.
• Serve as a resource to others in resolving complex problems and issues.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the USA.
• Minimum of 2 years prior machine maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical understanding of complex machinery.
• Experience using basic hand tools and power tools.
• Knowledge of machine tools and their use.
• Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic repairs.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 years prior machine maintenance experience preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills preferred.
• Ability to follow diagrams, schematics, manuals, instructions, and engineering specifications preferred.

Work Environment

• Monday through Friday work schedule
• Shift hours from 2:30pm to 10:30pm
