Lead day-to-day maintenance operations for manufacturing equipment, utilities, and facility support systems.
Develop and execute preventive maintenance (PM) programs based on OEM recommendations, operating history, criticality, and risk assessments.
Implement and improve predictive maintenance tools such as vibration analysis, thermal imaging, oil analysis, and condition monitoring where applicable.
Drive equipment uptime, reliability, and rapid recovery from breakdowns to support production goals.
Manage maintenance technicians, contractors, and external service providers.
Coordinate scheduled maintenance activities to minimize disruption to production operations.
Work directly with OEMs and suppliers on major repairs, rebuilds, upgrades, and troubleshooting activities.
Maintain and improve CMMS systems for work orders, PM schedules, spare parts, and maintenance history.
Analyze maintenance data to identify recurring failures, trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
Support capital projects, equipment installation, commissioning, and line expansions from a maintenance perspective.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, and process equipment issues.
Develop spare parts strategies, inventory controls, and vendor management practices.
Create and maintainmaintenance SOPs, safety procedures, lockout/tagout standards, and training programs.
Collaborate closely with production, engineering, quality, EHS, and controls teams to improve overall equipment effectiveness.
Support cleanroom or controlled-environment equipment including vacuum systems, wet benches, conveyors, robotics, pumps, chillers, and process tools where applicable.
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Associate degree with significant relevant experience may be considered).
Minimum 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, reliability engineering, or maintenance leadership in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems.
Hands-on experience with CMMS platforms such as SAP, Maximo, Fiix, MP2, or similar.
Experience managing maintenance teams and coordinating contractors.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings.
Experience working under production pressure with strong prioritization and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of TPM, RCM, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement methods.
Experience in PV, semiconductor, electronics, battery, or cleanroom manufacturing.
Hands-on experience with vacuum systems, sputtering tools, wet process benches, lasers, robotics, conveyors, or automated equipment.
Experience with PLC troubleshooting, especially Siemens systems.
Certification such as CMRP, CRL, PMP, or similar.
Experience reducing spare parts cost while improving service levels.
Background leading maintenance during startup, scale-up, or rapid growth environments.
