Machine Learning Engineer

We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to design, build, deploy, and maintain production-ready machine learning solutions that enhance business processes and digital services. You will work closely with data engineers, software developers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and compliant ML solutions across both Azure and on-premises environments.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Prepare, transform, and validate data from multiple sources for machine learning use cases.
• 
  Design, train, test, and optimize ML models for classification, regression, forecasting, scoring, and detection.
• 
  Develop feature engineering processes and ensure data quality and reproducibility.
• 
  Deploy machine learning models into production through APIs, backend services, and batch processes.
• 
  Build and maintain ML pipelines, CI/CD workflows, and MLOps processes.
• 
  Monitor model performance, data drift, model drift, latency, and system reliability.
• 
  Implement version control for code, datasets, configurations, and ML models.
• 
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions into existing applications.
• 
  Document technical implementations and contribute to ML engineering best practices.
• 
  Ensure solutions comply with relevant regulations, including the European AI Act.

Required Skills & Experience

• 
  Strong experience with Python for data science and machine learning development.
• 
  Experience with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, PyTorch, LangGraph, Ollama, and related open-source tools.
• 
  Knowledge of feature engineering, data preparation, model validation, and SQL
• 
  Experience deploying ML components into production applications and backend services.
• 
  Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, version control, and deployment of ML services.
• 
  Experience with MLOps, experiment tracking, model registry, workflow orchestration, and Azure DevOps.
• 
  Knowledge of monitoring tools for ML systems, including logging, metrics, drift detection, OpenTelemetry, and Dynatrace.
• 
  Experience with Azure and C#/.NET/Blazor is an advantage.

Languages

• 
  Native-level Dutch or French
• 
  Good understanding of the second national language.

Work Arrangement

• 
  Hybrid role with 2 days onsite per week in Brussels and 3 days remote
