The Opportunity

We are currently seeking Machine Learning/AI Software Engineering interns with a strong track record in research on machine learning models

You Will

• Support training of LLMs,
• Benchmark LLMs,
• Prepare and evaluate training datasets,
• Support the core Pathway Research Team.
  

The results of your work will play an important role in advancing the AI field.

You are expected to meet at least one of the following criteria:

1. You were an ICPC World Finalist, or an IOI, IMO, IOAI, or IPhO medalist in High School.
2. You have published a research paper at an A-rated o A*-rated venue (according to ICORE).
3. You have completed coding projects - ideally with a GitHub repository showcasing previous work.
4. You were an intern at a leading Machine Learning research center (e.g. at: Google Brain / Deepmind, Apple, Meta, Anthropic, Nvidia, MILA).
5. You can get a warm recommendation from you university faculty member.
   

You

• Have some experience in deep learning research, with a track record in Language Models and/or RL (candidates with a Vision or Robotics ML background are also welcome to apply).
• Are interested in improving foundational architectures and creating new benchmarks.
• Are experienced at hands-on experiments and model training (PyTorch, Jax, or Tensorflow).
• Have a good understanding of GPU architecture, memory design, and communication.
• Have a good understanding of graph algorithms.
• Have some familiarity with model monitoring, git, build systems, and CI/CD
• Are respectful of others.
• Are fluent in English .

• Duration 3-6 months
• Compensation based on profile and location.
• Location Possibility to work or meet with other team members in one of our other offices: Paris, France or Wroclaw, Poland. As a general rule, permanent residence will be required in the EU, UK, US, or Canada.
