This position of a Machine Assembler is responsible for assembling TRUMPF products in accordance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and established manufacturing procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and complete machines using engineering drawings, bills of materials, blueprints, and hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic schematics.
• Use precision measuring and assembly tools—including torque wrenches, depth gauges, dial indicators, and digital levels—to meet required tolerances.
• Select and properly use fixtures and other equipment to support efficient, accurate assembly.
• Operate an overhead crane to safely move heavy components during assembly.
• Follow TRUMPF quality standards and inspection requirements.
• Read, convert, and measure accurately using both imperial and metric systems.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and colleagues to achieve team and production goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with TRUMPF lean manufacturing principles.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and providing constructive feedback.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience in assembly, or five years of experience in manufacturing machine-tool parts, maintenance, or service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance and perform repetitive reaching, bending, and other physical tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, engineering drawings, part lists, and schematics.
• Experience using precision measuring and assembly tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with electrical wiring assembly is a plus.
• Basic computer literacy is preferred.
• Forklift certification or experience is a plus.
