Introduction to the job

At our Berlin site, our employees manufacture key components for ASML lithography systems. As part of our precision manufacturing team, you support the production of optical components, assemblies, and systems made of glass, glass-ceramics, and ceramics for our high-tech small-batch, single-part, and prototype production.

Role and responsibilities

As a Machine and Equipment Operator, you will:

• Perform incoming and outgoing inspections of components and supporting parts according to defined procedures.
• Prepare components, tools, and equipment for manufacturing processes following work instructions.
• Set up, load, and operate EDM, surface grinding, and laser equipment in accordance with production requirements.
• Conduct in-process measurements of workpieces and tools and evaluate measurement data against manufacturing documentation.
• Execute UV bonding processes and crack inspections as specified in work instructions.
• Document manufacturing results, quality deviations, and production status in the designated systems.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and parameter adjustments of machines and measuring equipment within defined responsibilities and approved procedures.

Education and experience

• Completed vocational training of at least three years in a technical or manufacturing-related field
• Experience in EDM machining, metrology, precision manufacturing, surface grinding, or comparable production environments
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documentation
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word in a production environment
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP
• Experience handling solvents and manufacturing materials in a controlled production environment
• Willingness to work in a shift-based operation and develop additional technical qualifications

Als Teil unserer Präzisionsfertigung unterstützt du bei der Produktion optischer Komponenten, Baugruppen sowie Systeme aus Glas, Glaskeramik und Keramik für unsere High-Tech-Kleinserien, Einzelteil- und Prototypenfertigung.

Deine Aufgaben

Als Maschinen- und Anlagenbediener:in wirst du:

• die Wareneingangs- und Warenausgangskontrollen von Bauteilen und Zusatzteilen gemäß vorgegebenen Prozessen durchführen.
• die Bauteile, Werkzeuge und Anlagen entsprechend der Arbeitsanweisungen für die Fertigung vorbereiten.
• Erodier-, Flachschleif- und Laseranlagen gemäß Fertigungsanforderungen einrichten, bestücken und bedienen.
• fertigungsbegleitende Messungen an Werkstücken und Werkzeugen durchführen sowie Messdaten anhand der Fertigungsunterlagen auswerten.
• UV-Kitt-Prozesse und Rissprüfungen nach definierten Vorgaben durchführen.
• Fertigungsergebnisse, Qualitätsabweichungen und Bearbeitungsstände in den vorgesehenen Systemen dokumentieren.
• regelmäßige Reinigungs-, Wartungs- und freigegebene Parameteranpassungen an Maschinen und Messmitteln innerhalb des Verantwortungsbereichs durchführen.

Deine Qualifikation

• Abgeschlossene mindestens dreijährige Berufsausbildung in einem technischen oder fertigungsnahen Berufsfeld
• Berufserfahrung im Senkerodieren, in der Messtechnik, Präzisionsfertigung, im Flachschleifen oder in vergleichbaren Produktionsumgebungen
• Fähigkeit, technische Zeichnungen und Fertigungsdokumentationen sicher zu lesen und zu interpretieren
• Erfahrung im Umgang mit Microsoft Excel und Word im Produktionsumfeld
• Kenntnisse im Umgang mit ERP-Systemen wie SAP
• Erfahrung im Umgang mit Lösemitteln und Fertigungsmaterialien in einer kontrollierten Produktionsumgebung
• Bereitschaft zur Schichtarbeit sowie zur Weiterentwicklung zusätzlicher technischer Qualifikationen
