We are searching for self-driven, hardworking electrical engineers to provide design, test, characterization, failure analysis and manufacturing support to our product. Our products are on the groundbreaking in every way: usability, integration, connectivity, power consumption, fabrication, reliability, manufacturing scale. The candidate will play a meaningful role in the development of Apple products, collaborating with multi-functional design team in the process.
You will take ownership of sophisticated characterization and debugging frameworks for Mac platforms. Operating on a global scale, your expertise will bridge the gap between initial hardware architecture and final mass production, directly optimizing the quality of Mac systems. Expect to work closely with diverse, cross-functional engineering teams, with potential travel required to support worldwide operations.
Preferred Qualifications
Direct experience in high volume consumer electronics like smart phone, laptops, drones, wearable devices etc.
Familiarity with building and deploying web tools. Knowledge of databases (e.g., SQLite, PostgreSQL) and web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, React) is a strong plus.
Experience leveraging AI tools and frameworks (e.g., LLMs, machine learning algorithms) to automate tasks, analyze engineering data, or enhance daily workflows.
Highly proactive, with the ability to drive tasks independently and adapt quickly to fast-moving project schedules.
Strong leadership and team collaboration spirit to drive test coverage enhancements and test method optimization.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in EE related majors
Must have hands-on EE lab experience, be familiar with lab equipments like oscilloscope, power source, E-load, TDR etc., aware of EE lab activities such as board/system bring up or issue debug, and sensitive to circuit behaviors.
Programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, Shell) to automate laboratory setups, program test instruments, parse engineering data, and streamline repetitive tasks.
Must have a proven understanding of EE knowledge in at least one of below fields: power design, EMC, signal/power integrity, industry standard protocols (DP, USB, I2C/SPI, SDIO, SPMI etc.)
Outstanding interpersonal skills in both English and Chinese.
