We are currently seeking ambitious team players with exceptional analytical skills and a well-rounded personality to become part of our dynamic and highly motivating M&A Transaction Services team in Athens. Our Transaction Services team (which is a part of the Strategy, Risk and Transactions Advisory Team) is specialized in providing in-depth transaction support services, especially M&A advisory to private equity investors, international funds, and other interested parties.

Your role as a Business Analyst/Consultant will focus on the delivery of client engagements by exercising effective communication and relationship-building skills and contributing to the priorities of the team and the business. In this role, you will commit to personal learning and development, act as a brand ambassador, and grasp opportunities to make an impact that matters, by delivering exceptional client services.

During your tenure as a Business Analyst/Consultant, you will demonstrate and develop the ability to:

* Collect, assimilate, and analyze relevant data, using standard tools and data visualizations to help surface insights
* Gather data to allow team to effectively evaluate potential and realized synergies to support post-integration/divestiture efforts
* Gather and interpret financial information to help strengthen proposed recommendations
* Help teams compile early stage diligence findings to support potential transactions
* Prepare parts or complete presentations, oriented to detail
* Manage own work against the project plan to ensure a superior client experience
* Understand the mechanics of various financial analyses performed in a diligence engagement and organize information accordingly
* Comply with risk rules and frames, as well as confidentiality guidelines to deliver astonishing results that meet clients’ highest quality standards
* Share knowledge and experiences to support the development of peers and junior
* Interact effectively with people across all levels, including leaders, teams and
* Operate as a brand ambassador to uphold Deloitte’s value proposition of high-quality and professionalism

To qualify for the role you must have:

* 1-3 years of relevant work experience preferably in transaction advisory services within an international professional services firm or another Big 4 environment
* University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or related disciplines
* Postgraduate Degree and/or professional qualification such as CFA, CPA, ACCA, ACA would be an asset
* Ability to operate in high performing teams and manage multiple priorities and tasks, for a variety of projects, in a fast-paced environment
* Strong presentation and communication skills. Excellent command of the English & Greek language, both verbally and in writing
* Analytical thinking & problem solving skills
* Computer Literacy. Excellent MS Office knowledge
* Military obligations fulfilled where applicable
