Job Description

You will build and operate data-driven systems that support Singapore's education ecosystem, enabling the use of data science and AI to improve decision-making and outcomes. Working within public sector agency, you will deliver scalable, secure platforms that power analytics and digital services across education sectors.

This role requires strong ownership across the full stack, from frontend to cloud infrastructure, and close collaboration with product, data, and policy teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end systems spanning frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure to support data and AI use cases
• Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and reusable data platforms aligned with modern cloud architecture practices
• Implement data systems including database management, ETL pipelines, and analytics tooling to support organisation-wide use cases
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into working solutions
• Integrate systems and services to enable seamless data flow across applications and platforms
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security through robust engineering and operational practices

Requirements

• Experience in full-stack development across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
• Experience in building or supporting data systems and architectures
• Exposure to data science or machine learning applications is advantageous
• Full-stack engineering (frontend, backend, APIs)
• Cloud-based development and infrastructure
• Data systems development (databases, ETL pipelines, analytics tools)
• System design with focus on scalability, reusability, and security
• Strong ownership of end-to-end delivery
• Ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Clear communication and collaboration skills
• Problem-solving with a focus on practical, implementable solutions
