• Responsible for preventive quality (planning, execution and release) for new projects and changes (ECR) within a project team
• Conduct technical discussion meetings with RB project team and supplier to clarify technical and preventive quality requirements
• Evaluate and confirm supplier capability from technical side before supplier awarding
• Content review of PPAP documents (e.g. P-FMEA, control plan)
• Execute process release at supplier and sign PPAP release for purchased parts
• Lead resolution of component related quality problems before SOP
• Define and follow up safe launch activities
• Consider series experience / lessons learned of other projects
• Represent and report preventive quality topics up to management team
• Bachelor and above with engineering background, more than 3 years' working experience in mechanical components (e.g. plastic, connector, die-casting, stamping, assembly)sourcing or supplier quality management, from automotive industry is a plus
• Deep understanding of quality management and experience in preventive quality process
• Good project management skills, like planning, coordinating, prioritizing and communicating complex tasks within the project team and taking active initiative to solve difficulties
• Technical understanding of drawings/specifications and transfer to suppliers via technical discussion
• Professional in English skills, MS office, as well as experienced in working within SAP system
• Proactive and able to work independently, but also as a part of team
• Flexible to adapt to different project requirements, environments and able to travel if necessary
