KNOW THE ROLE

Are you a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager with a passion for jewellery and a proven track record of driving sales? We are seeking a motivated Assistant Manager for our new Limerick Store.


PLEASE NOTE: Must have minimum 35+ hrs FLEXIBLE +week day availability

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage operations
  • Lead and motivate staff members including HR and all admin
  • Drive sales and achieve quarterly targets
  • Implement strategies to maximize sales performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyse KPIs to ensure targets are met and exceeded.
  • Stock and inventory management
  • Reporting and presenting initiatives to head office
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained to the highest level.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer inquiries or issues.
  • Conduct regular staff training and performance evaluations.

What to expect from the role:

  • You will be responsible for the successful execution of the new Lynott jewellery counter team as well as responsible for training and motivating the team to achieve the counter’s targets.
  • You will be responsible for tracking targets, distributing individual targets to staff and ensuring these targets are met.
  • Organising teams to optimise sales, managing security and stock loss prevention, team rotas and tracking and reporting on the team's sales performance
  • You will be responsible for being a part of the launch procedure and ensuring the launch goes smoothly in collaboration with the higher management team.
  • You will be expected to follow Lynott Jewellery’s policies and procedures & be confident communicating these to your team.
  • You will be responsible for embodying the Lynott Jewellery values and setting exemplary customer service standards & representing the brand with appearance and manner, ensuring your team follows suit.
  • You will be responsible for the successful running and trading of the counter
  • You will be expected to have a strong counter presence, managing teams presence and influencing the sales space, so enjoying this environment is vital.
  • You seek out new initiatives , policies, KPIs, training, methods and practices to implement across the business to further excel its success.
  • You nurture and develop the store team, to unlock their full potential and support their development
  • Opening and closing of counter, and reconciling the till systems.

KNOW WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role, preferably within the retail sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Target-driven with a proactive approach to driving sales.
  • Ability to manage multiple locations and coordinate between teams effectively.
  • Passion for retail and a keen eye for detail.

An ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in tracking and driving sales, managing a large team to also drive sales and profitability in store in a manager or senior sales person role (min 2 years).
  • A passion for customer service.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a team, including carrying out disciplinary procedures when necessary.
  • Have a proven track record in delivering targets and reporting on them as part of, or through a team.
  • Have experience managing a team including rosters.
  • Have excellent leadership and influencing skills- leading by example with the team.
  • Be organized with a strong attention to detail & time management.
  • Strong communication skills in order to encourage a high-performing team.
  • Ability to proficiently delegate tasks, and monitor these tasks daily.
  • Experience with store merchandising.
  • Microsoft office suite proficient.Ability to be adaptable and flexible to changing business needs.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
  • A passion for fashion and jewellery.
