Job Description

Key Responsibilities May Include:

  • Manage and monitor the asset recovery process across the assigned region, ensuring compliance with Asset Recovery guidelines and achieving collection targets.
  • Provide leadership, support, and guidance to Asset Recovery Representatives, ensuring optimal territory coverage and recovery efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Logistics and wider asset management teams to ensure timely and efficient collections, minimizing delays and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Oversee transportation costs, ensuring alignment with budget targets by leveraging the most cost-effective carriers and methods.
  • Track and resolve operational issues related to transport, collections, and customer interactions, ensuring timely solutions and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards across all recovery operations, fostering a culture of zero harm and compliance within the team.
  • Regularly review and analyze collection performance, providing weekly reports and recommendations to drive improvements.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of asset recovery processes, ensuring that hardware, tools, and resources are up-to-date and support efficient operations.

Regional Driver Manager - Mid-Atlantic Region

Location: Field-based across Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi The candidate must live within the territory, and be reasonably close to a major airport.

Travel Requirements: 50% Within Region

Major/Key Accountabilities

  • Direct leadership of up to 30 LVR Reps (Rep I, Rep II and CDLA Reps)
  • Ensure full compliance with all DOT, Safety, Reporting and other expectations are met
  • Improve overall collection volume and operational efficiency performance for all LVR Reps

within responsible region

  • Partner with local Operations and Supply Chain leadership to ensure efficient returns are being

completed

  • Partner with LVR Operations Planning and Global Asset Productivity team to ensure all

potential automation and tools are being fully utilized by the region

  • Oversee execution of the integration of other service areas within the CHEP business with LVR.
  • Oversee P&L performance of LVR Fleet in responsible region
  • Maintain staffing and CIFOT/DIFOT service level within responsible region
  • Partner with internal support teams to plan, implement and manage continuous improvement

initiatives related to all aspects of the LVR Fleet Management.

  • Partner with local, regional, and national account owners to drive volume, efficiencies, and

customer satisfaction for our customer accounts being serviced by LVR.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Understanding of CHEP’s Asset

Management strategies

  • Familiarity with current LTL/Route

optimization strategies

  • Familiarity with DOT Regulations
  • Ability to lead complex regional

transportation execution plans

  • Comfortable with making adjustments

to established plans “on-the-fly”

  • Strong communication and

presentation skills

  • Self-motivated

  • Familiar with CHEP’s supply chain and

general strategy

  • Able to easily communicate logistical

Experience

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • 3-5+ years People Leadership Experience
  • 3+ years of P&L management/ownership
  • Development of Performance Reporting/KPI program
  • Customer-facing Issue Resolution preferred
  • Development of a new team or business unit
  • Leadership of significant process change impacting 50+ front line employees
