Location: Porterville, CA
Pay Range: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour (BOE)
Status: Part-Time
Shifts: All Shifts Available (AM / PM / NOC)

We are currently seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join our nursing team on a full-time basis, with opportunities available on all shifts.

General Purpose

The primary responsibility of the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is to provide direct nursing care to residents and to support the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and physician orders

  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely

  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report findings to the Charge Nurse or RN

  • Accurately document care provided, observations, and resident responses in the medical record

  • Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed

  • Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver resident-centered care

  • Ensure infection control, safety, and privacy standards are followed at all times

  • Respond appropriately to resident needs and emergency situations

  • Maintain a professional, compassionate, and respectful approach toward residents and families

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • Graduate of an accredited Vocational Nursing program

  • Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care experience preferred

Licensure & Certifications

  • Current, active California LVN license in good standing

  • Current BLS/CPR certification

Skills

  • Strong clinical and assessment skills

  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
