Job Description

LVN – Licensed Vocational Nurse

Marin Post Acute | Full-Time | Starting at $40/hour

Marin Post Acute is hiring compassionate, dependable LVNs to join our skilled nursing team! If you're a licensed vocational nurse who takes pride in quality resident care and strong teamwork, we'd love to have you on board.

What You'll Do

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise CNAs on your shift
  • Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
  • Chart resident conditions, care provided, and responses accurately
  • Transcribe physician orders and maintain up-to-date resident records
  • Monitor residents' health status and report changes to the supervising nurse/physician
  • Perform treatments such as wound care, catheter care, tube feedings, and vital signs
  • Ensure care plans are followed and updated as resident needs change
  • Support new admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Maintain infection control, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team (nursing, dietary, activities, etc.)
  • Participate in in-service training and continuing education

What We're Looking For

  • Active, unencumbered LVN license in California
  • Current CPR certification
  • Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
  • Knowledge of PointClickCare (PCC) a plus
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
