Salary Range: $19.00 - $23.26 Hourly

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Full-Time CNA I’s (formerly known as Geriatric Nursing Assistants) to join our caring, mission-driven community. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while working alongside a supportive and experienced team.
We currently have Day Shift positions available (7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.), with an every-other-weekend rotation, providing care and support to residents in our Skilled Nursing Healthcare Center. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional resident-centered care, apply today!

What You’ll Do as CNA I at Lutheran Village at Miller's Grant:
- Provide residents with high quality daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living.
- Complete required documentation in a timely manner.

QualificationsWhat You’ll Need as a CNA I:
Education | Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
- Current license in accordance with applicable state regulations.
- 1–2+ years of experience as a CNA I in a long-term care or related healthcare setting preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels, including residents, staff, families, external vendors/authorities, and the public.
- Strong attention to detail in writing, proofreading, managing priorities, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating a cooperative, respectful, and compassionate approach to colleagues and resident care.
- Skilled in the use of standard office equipment and technology.
- Maintains professionalism, composure, and a positive attitude when managing challenging situations.
- Physically able to move throughout the workday and lift items up to 25 pounds using safe handling practices.
- May be necessary to assist with resident evacuation during emergency situations.
- Complies with organizational health and safety requirements, including vaccination policies or valid exemptions.
