This position reports to:

Export Senior Sales Engineer

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and complete bids, estimations, and quotations based on customer specifications, requirements, or budget to achieve market competitiveness and high margins for the company. Each day, you will maintain and improve the balance between all ABB units and customers in your area of responsibility. You will also showcase your expertise by collecting and collating the information required to prepare proposals, including both technical and cost elements.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification business - Low voltage systems based in Egypt.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Formulating competitive bids, estimates, and quotations by considering the best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial aspects for each situation.
• Creating well-documented tenders in a timely manner and with an appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs.
• Managing the preparation of technical, financial, and, if required, project management aspects of the bid, estimate, and quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions.
• Ensuring that inputs for editing activities related to bid, estimate, and quotation preparation are provided in a timely manner and in accordance with the established quality procedures.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• You have 2-5 years experience as sales support, bid and proposal or design/engineering for low voltage systems.
• You are engaged in creating and documenting Project bill of materials in line with business & customer requirements and provide quotation and suggestions for possible alternative explaining the benefit to the client (cost/technical/delivery).
• Have established skills for resolution of schedule conflicts, priority changes – taking the lead for project full ownership in all phases to support all internal & external clients.
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of different products for LVS scope to offer technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/channels/Sales Specialists about LVS products/systems/applications.
• You are at ease communicating in English and Arabic
• Possess strong communication skills.
