About the Function

Our Sales team love building relationships, connecting with customers to sell our much-loved brands in new and vibrant markets where they can thrive. They help sell our iconic brands across 180 countries every year.

About the role

You are the personification of our brands. You can build great relationships with key influencers in the industry and know where to go. You engage with spec stores and wholesalers to ensure they are selling our brands and can tell the story behind them. Your job isn’t done until our products are visible to consumers and perfectly sold in the right places. You are responsible for driving and inspiring customer loyalty while implementing marketing activations at your customers' points of sale.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting trainings/tastings across the Diageo portfolio

  • Understanding consumer types, attitudes, and trends

  • Identifying emerging trends and communicating that knowledge to key contacts within the team

  • Developing profitable programs while partnering with our customers in spec stores and wholesaler channels

  • Using customer insights while implementing activation plans

About You

This role emphasizes the importance of attitude but requires experience. It's perfect for seasoned sales professionals who are eager to drive commercial outcomes and advance within our organization.

  • Ideally 2–3 years’ experience working in a spirits environment.

  • Excellent category knowledge; ability to identify trends/insights.

  • Strong understanding of motivations among spec store & wholesaler managers.

  • Outstanding presentation/sales skills yielding positive results.

  • Proven training ability; persuasive selling skills; passion for high-end drinks business respecting customers/consumers.

  • Fluency in Dutch & English; proficiency in French advantageous.

  • Driver's license B (BE).
