Four Rivers Co-op is hiring a full-time YARD ATTENDANT!! Do you enjoy working outdoors year-round? Are you a hands-on worker who enjoys a physically demanding role serving customers? If so, this may be the job for you!

Location: Home Centre Vanderhoof, BC

Reporting to the Yard Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Demonstrating Four Rivers Co-operative’s values of Service, Integrity, Excellence and Responsibility
• Working collaboratively with team members to provide excellent service and make all guests feel “at home”
• Safely and efficiently operating a forklift to unload supplier trucks
• Loading customer vehicles while providing excellent service and ensuring the correct products and quantities are loaded
• Performing general cleaning and facility upkeep, including keeping the yard and storage areas clean and organized

• Following all company policies and procedures, including workplace health and safety requirements

What You Bring:

• A positive, self-motivated attitude and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• The physical ability to repeatedly pull, lift and carry up to 50 lbs. throughout each shift
• The ability to remain organized, efficient and adaptable in a physically demanding environment
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
• A commitment to quality and an eye for detail
• Forklift experience would be considered an asset
• Experience in retail in a similar position with a valid driver’s license
• You are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do

• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
