What You’ll Do:
As our Lumber Lead, you’ll play an important role in the success of the Lumber Department by:
Building strong, long-term relationships with customers, contractors, and our members.
Providing knowledgeable, friendly, and solution-focused customer service.
Leading the day-to-day operations of the Lumber Department along with scheduling, including sales (inside sale/outside sales) and Marketing, production, project execution, deliveries, quality control, purchasing, and inventory management.
Working toward sales, margin, inventory, and other department targets.
Identifying opportunities to grow sales and develop new customer relationships.
Completing market research and price comparisons to ensure competitive pricing.
Providing direction, support, and coaching to Team Members.
Assigning work and providing ongoing feedback to help Team Members succeed.
Promoting the Co-op brand and maintaining high standards for merchandising and department presentation.
Ensuring Health & Safety and environmental policies and procedures are followed.

Class 1 or 3 would be an assist
