Homestead Co-op is hiring a Part Time Lumber Yard/Desk Clerk at our Carman Home Centre location.

What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Lumber Manager your duties will include but are not limited to; efficient and courteous customer service, processing customer transactions, stocking, merchandising, handling of reports and correspondence with suppliers. To assist with inventory, ordering of regular merchandise and special-order merchandise. Also responsible for doing estimates on smaller projects and capable of selling the necessary products for these estimates. The Lumber Desk Clerk performs duties in accordance with the mission statement and policies / procedures of Homestead Co-op.

You are highly motivated.
You possess strong interpersonal skills.
Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license.
Must have or willing to obtain Level 3 Estimating.
Must be able to work a variety of shifts including days and weekends.
You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-orientated and strive to be the best in what you do.
