Lube & Tire Technician

Sterling West Chrysler GMC | Jennings, LA

Sterling Automotive Group is looking for motivated Lube & Tire Technicians who take pride in their work and want to be part of a successful, family-owned dealership serving Acadiana.

This role is responsible for performing essential maintenance services that keep our customers’ vehicles running safely and efficiently. It’s also an excellent entry point for individuals who want to build a long-term career in automotive service and eventually grow into an Automotive Technician role.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday-Friday and every other Saturday (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

What You'll Do

• Perform oil and filter changes following manufacturer specifications
• Rotate, mount, and balance tires
• Perform multi-point vehicle inspections
• Identify potential vehicle concerns and report findings to service advisors or technicians
• Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in all work performed
• Follow all dealership and industry safety procedures
• Complete required training provided by the dealership to continue developing your skills

What We're Looking For

• Some hands-on experience performing basic vehicle maintenance strongly preferred
• Automotive shop experience is a plus but not required
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Coachable and able to take direction from senior technicians
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and attention to detail

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Must be at least 18 years old due to insurance requirements
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
