What You Will Do:

  • Columbus Forge, a recognized leader in producing disks and airfoils for the aerospace propulsion market, is looking for dedicated individuals to support our organization. If you would like to work in a dynamic environment and possess the motivation to incorporate new ideas into practice, this may be the opportunity for you!
  • Lubrication: Apply lubricant to disks for manufacturing machinery.
  • Fluid & Filter Management: Replace filters per daily, weekly and monthly schedule.
  • Inspections: Conduct daily, weekly, or monthly inspections of equipment to identify leaks, wear, or potential failures.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records for lubricant applications.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify, report, and assist in fixing mechanical issues or worn components.
  • Safety & Cleanliness: Adhere to safety procedures, maintain a clean workspace, and ensure proper care of lubrication equipment.
  • Measure and inspect Lubricated parts to ensure conformance to product specifications.
  • Read work instructions and/or blueprints to determine specified tolerances and sequences of operations for lubrication application.
  • Measure thickness using Phynix thickness gage.
  • Transport completed material to the next operation using forklift.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
