Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc., is looking for an LTSA Program Manager.

This role can be based in Orlando, FL or Houston, TX.

The LTSA Program Manager is responsible for the management and implementation of Long-Term Agreements (LTSA/LTMA) for power generation services. This includes coordinating internal and external resources to fulfill contract requirements, managing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events, and ensuring successful execution of customer agreements. This role involves regular customer interaction, event planning, outage execution, and coordination of technical and commercial functions.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Management and Project Oversight

  • Manage all LTSA/LTMA contracts, including planning and execution of scope.
  • Lead cross-functional internal planning efforts for outages and ensure clear scope definition.
  • Provide project management for inspection, repair, and close-out activities.
  • Present and explain cost or schedule deviations to stakeholders.
  • Review and approve customer invoices; ensure timely submission and follow-up.
  • Monitor Accounts Receivable and support finance with collections.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of contract terms, contingency plans, and lessons learned.

Customer and Event Coordination

  • Frequently travel to customer plant sites for planning and meetings.
  • Coordinate outage logistics, parts, repairs, and schedule execution.
  • Track and manage parts history, operating hours, and life cycle data.
  • Expedite parts as needed and ensure timely delivery and return of repaired components.
  • Work closely with customers and engineering teams to resolve warranty and technical issues.
  • Identify opportunities for contract growth and additional sales.

Systems, Documentation, and Reporting

  • Ensure information accuracy across internal systems for outage planning.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of warranty, scope, and project status.
  • Forecast parts requirements and ensure readiness for upcoming outages.
  • Provide technical consultation on remaining part life and replacement timing.

Mentoring and Leadership (Level II Responsibilities)

  • Serve as a mentor to other LTSA Program Managers where applicable.
  • Independently report on schedule and budget variances.
  • Manage multiple customer contracts and equipment types effectively.
  • Provide guidance and support for continuous improvement initiatives.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures; report unsafe conditions.
  • Support ISO 9001 compliance and contribute to related initiatives.
  • Participate in team efforts to meet departmental and company goals.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Protect confidential information.
  • Maintain an active driver’s license and valid passport.
  • Travel up to 30% of the time via land or air based on contract requirements.
  • Maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, plus a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates need to have project management or field related experience in power generation, oil/gas, or Utilities. Gas turbine experience is a plus but not required.

Ability to read and interpret business journals, technical documentation, and regulations.

Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and presenting information to diverse audiences.

Ability to compute percentages, area, volume, and apply algebraic and geometric concepts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in varied and non-standard situations.

Ability to interpret written, oral, and visual instructions.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Familiarity with project management and basic database tools.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis and must not require employer immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.

Physical & Safety Requirements

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, talk, and hear.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds; occasionally up to fifty pounds.
  • May be exposed to chemicals and loud environments.
  • Must follow safety protocols, including use of PPE such as hardhats, safety glasses, and fall protection.
