[What the role is]

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual with strong analytical and communication skills to join the Bus Financing, Investment and Governance Division in the Policy Sub-Group. This Division plays a key role in formulating strategies and policies for our bus industry, including new alternative modes such as Bus Rapid Transit (BRT). You will be given the unique opportunity to play an integral role in shaping our land transport system.

[What you will be working on]

• Formulating policies and strategies for Singapore’s expanding bus network, the Bus Masterplan and new alternative modes like BRT..
• Designing and developing the contracting approach for bus services and new alternative modes to ensure alignment of interests between LTA and operators, including ensuring the legislative framework supports the proposed policy and regulatory approach.
• Carrying out robust financial modelling of System Financials to support policy decision making and ensuring the financial sustainability of the bus industry. This will include setting up and reviewing processes to monitor system indicators.
• Partnering relevant government agencies and entities to ensure timely development and implementation of projects.

[What we are looking for]

• Bachelors Degree or higher, preferably in Economics, Engineering or Science/Social Science discipline.
• Possess the drive and resourcefulness to produce innovative solutions to address policy issues.
• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think critically, write and present thoughts concisely.
• Team player who is highly adaptable and able to work independently.
• Knowledge or experience in excel modelling, financial projections and data analytics will be an advantage.
