[LTA - FIN] ASSISTANT MANAGER, COLLECTIONS, RECEIVABLES & REFUNDS
[What you will be working on]
You will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely accounting of collections and refunds, while supporting digital payment operations and customer-centric collection services. You will work closely with finance colleagues and stakeholders to strengthen collections processes and drive continuous improvements.
Your responsibilities include:
Support daily collections, receivables and refund operations across multiple payment channels, including digital payment modes, as well as reconciliations and account analysis
Monitor and track digital payment transactions to ensure timely processing and proper accounting of collections
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of journals, schedules and supporting documentation, and liaise with auditors on information requests
Partner with internal stakeholders, banks, payment service providers and vendors to support smooth operations and provide financial insights
Prepare, update and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation
Review business processes and contribute to continuous improvements in efficiency and controls
Support system implementations and enhancements, including user acceptance testing (UAT), data validation and post-implementation checks
[What we are looking for]
Knowledge in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
Preferably with at least 2 years of relevant experience in hands-on, end-to-end finance operations, particularly in collections and refunds processing within digital payment environments
Candidates with experience in transaction-based, operational finance roles will be well aligned with the requirements of this role
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Power Query, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of analytics or automation tools (e.g. Python, UiPath) is an advantage
Meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Resourceful, self-driven and able to work independently
Good interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong team player
