Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategic Development
- Provide leadership and guidance to all departments on training and development initiatives.
- Collaborate with the L&D Manager, Business Partner, and departmental heads to identify leadership development needs.
- Develop and manage the overall Training and Development Plan, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and localization strategy.
Talent Management & Succession Planning
- Identify internal and external talent and maintain a robust talent pipeline.
- Design and implement succession plans and career paths for critical roles.
- Ensure all development plans support the company’s localization objectives.
Training & Development Execution
- Manage leadership training programs and coaching initiatives for employees.
- Establish developmental opportunities for employees, focusing on national workforce development.
- Oversee the implementation of the Performance Management System, including PDP and EDP processes.
Budget & Reporting
- Maintain and monitor the annual Leadership Assessment Training Budget.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports for HR leadership and corporate HR.
- Facilitate discussions during bi-annual Career Committee meetings and consolidate performance data.
Performance Management
- Support management in implementing AML’s performance management and employee development programs (eGEDP).
- Ensure compliance with regional and corporate standards for performance planning and review cycles.
Qualification & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, or HR leadership roles.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing training programs and succession planning.
- Strong understanding of localization strategies and workforce development in a mining or industrial setting.
