Duties and Responsibilities / KPI’s
Core Purpose of the Role
• Support smooth day-to-day HR operations
• Provide reliable HR data and reports to support decision-making
• Maintain compliance, records, and documentation
• Support HR leadership and HRBPs to focus on strategic and employee-facing work
• HR Administrative & Operational Support
• Coordinate and track HR processes (recruitment, onboarding, transfers, exits, confirmations), where applicable.
• Prepare draft HR documentation (letters, memos, contracts, confirmations, policy acknowledgements).
• Maintain employee personnel files (physical and HRIS) with high data integrity.
• Track approvals, submissions, and follow-ups across HR activities.
1. HR Administrative & Operational Support
• Coordinate and track HR processes (recruitment, onboarding, transfers, exits, confirmations).

2. HR Data, Reporting & Analytics Support
• Provide support in compiling and maintaining HR data (headcount, attrition, leave, contracts, employee movements).
• Produce periodic HR reports and dashboards for management and audits as required.
• Support workforce planning and budgeting through data collation and analysis.
• Ensure data accuracy across payroll, benefits, and HR systems.
3. Process Coordination & Compliance
• Support compliance with labour laws, internal policies, and audit requirements.
• Track statutory documentation, employee records, and deadlines.
• Support inspections, audits, and internal reviews by preparing required data.
• Support compliance with HR SOPs and process maps.
4. Stakeholder & Communication Support
• Act as a coordination point between HR, Finance, Payroll, IT, Estates, and line managers.
• Respond to routine employee HR queries or direct them appropriately.
• Track and follow up on employee requests and HR tickets.
5. Continuous Improvement & Efficiency
• Identify gaps, delays, or inefficiencies in HR processes.
• Support digitisation, automation, and process improvements.
• Maintain trackers, templates, and standard HR tools.

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Knowledge
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in the social sciences obtained within 1 – 3 years from the date of application
• Must be a Liberian citizen and 30 years or below during the time of application, as demonstrated by your officially issued National ID card or passport.
• Should have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above at the time of graduation
• A verifiable transcript and proof of graduation (presentation of degree)

Working Conditions
• Based at Yekepa or Buchanan offices
• Standard office environment with frequent interaction in operational areas.
• Requires flexibility to work extended hours during peak project periods.
• Exposure to mining site conditions; adherence to all safety protocols is mandatory.
• Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding sensitive personal, financial, and security
• information for all expatriates and their families.
Health and Safety
1.1. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, standards, and procedures.
1.2. Participate in health, safety and environment training programs to understand potential hazards, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
1.3. Report any health, safety and environmental concerns, incidents, or near misses promptly to the designated supervisor or safety officer.
1.4. Assist in identifying workplace hazards and participate in risk assessments to minimise risks to personal health and safety.
1.5. Wear appropriate PPE as required for specific tasks or environments and ensure that it is maintained and used correctly.
1.6. Be familiar with emergency response procedures, including evacuation routes, assembly points, and first aid protocols.
1.7. Follow established safe work practices and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, or illnesses.
1.8. Operate machinery, tools, and equipment safely, following manufacturer's instructions and the AML safety guidelines.
1.9. Maintain a clean and orderly workspace to reduce hazards and prevent accidents.
1.9.1. Promote a culture of health and safety awareness among coworkers by encouraging safe behaviours and reporting unsafe conditions.
1.9.2. Participate in health and safety committees or meetings as required, providing input and suggestions for improving workplace safety.
1.9.3. Keep accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities as required by company policy and regulations.
Environment
1.1. Oversee and monitor the environmental performance of your department's functions, ensuring high levels of awareness and compliance with company environmental policies and relevant environmental laws.
1.2. Regularly review environmental performance metrics and indicators to track progress, identify trends, and address areas for improvement.
1.3. Ensure all environmental incidents are reported promptly and investigated thoroughly in line with company policies and legal requirements.
1.4. Uphold a culture of environmental responsibility and compliance within the organisation by setting clear expectations for incident reporting and response at all levels.
1.5. Collaborate with the Environment team to identify opportunities for environmental improvement and develop strategic programs to enhance sustainability practices.
