Duties and Responsibilities
Recruitment Planning and Coordination
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities for approved vacancies.
- Support workforce planning initiatives by providing recruitment data and market insights.
- Review manpower requisitions and ensure supporting approvals are obtained.
- Coordinate recruitment timelines and hiring schedules with stakeholders.
- Monitor recruitment progress against approved manpower plans.
Talent Sourcing and Attraction
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract qualified local candidates.
- Manage recruitment advertisements through approved internal and external channels.
- Build and maintain talent pools for critical and recurring positions.
- Establish relationships with universities, technical institutions, and professional associations.
- Promote AML as an employer of choice through recruitment and employer-branding initiatives.
Candidate Screening and Assessment
- Conduct preliminary review and screening of applications.
- Coordinate interview schedules and assessment activities.
- Support competency-based interview processes.
- Ensure consistent application of recruitment and selection standards.
- Coordinate candidate testing and assessment processes
Recruitment Administration
- Prepare recruitment documentation and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate records of applicants and recruitment activities.
- Ensure recruitment trackers and databases are updated regularly.
- Coordinate candidate communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Prepare recruitment reports and hiring updates for management.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements.
- Provide recruitment guidance and support to departments.
- Facilitate interview panel coordination and logistics.
- Ensure effective communication between candidates, hiring managers, and HR teams.
- Promote collaborative recruitment decision-making process
Onboarding Coordination
- Coordinate pre-employment documentation and employment requirements.
- Support onboarding and orientation activities for new hires.
- Ensure completion of required employment documentation.
- Monitor onboarding progress and new employee integration.
- Facilitate communication between new hires and relevant departments.
G. Compliance and Governance
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with AML policies and procedures.
- Promote fair, transparent, and merit-based recruitment practices.
- Maintain confidentiality of candidate and recruitment information.
- Ensure adherence to applicable labor laws and employment regulations.
- Support recruitment audits and compliance reviews.
H. Recruitment Metrics and Reporting
- Monitor recruitment KPIs and hiring performance.
- Generate recruitment statistics and reports.
- Analyse hiring trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Track recruitment cycle times and candidate conversion rates.
- Recommend actions to improve recruitment efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications / Experience / Technical Knowledge
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Social Sciences, or related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience coordinating recruitment campaigns and selection processes.
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems and recruitment databases.
- Experience in a mining, industrial, operational, or large corporate environment is an advantage.
Professional Certifications (Advantageous)
- CIPD Qualification.
- SHRM Certification.
- Talent Acquisition or Recruitment Certification.
- Human Resource Management Certification.
