LR China Offshore Commercial Manager

Location: North China, Shanghai

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with Key Accounts, yards and local commercial team
  • Qualification and positioning of LR Energies with customers
  • Take accountability for sales performance, pipeline development, and revenue delivery
  • Leadership the end-to-end bid process, from strategy development to contract negotiation and close-out
  • Apply commercial acumen and negotiation expertise to secure profitable contracts, navigating complex procurement environments and competitive landscapes.
  • Proactively engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers to uncover business needs, project timelines, and commercial drivers
  • Generation of Energies sales and pipeline to deliver the Long Range Model
  • Ownership of Sales targets with local account managers
  • Manage ad coordinate key commercial enablers such as pre-contracting registration, portals, qualification criteria and legal entities to enable Energies business
  • Represent LR Energies at industry and Regulatory events
  • Development of strategic partnerships and supplier arrangements for LR Energies business
  • Contribute to the LR Energies strategy and Long Range Model development
  • Development of delivery models
  • Maximise value of Energies projects through cross-sell and up-sell of products and services

Candidate:

  • Proven deep-rooted experience and relationships across the offshore energy industry and experience in leadership within organisations that deliver services for offshore energy developments.
  • Track record of securing major offshore contracts, navigating complex stakeholder environments, and driving revenue through consultative engagement and commercial acumen Senior and excutive level contact network within the offshore energy sectors including operators, EPCI’s and OEMs.
  • Flexible for worldwide travel as and when required for new client meetings/follow ups .
  • Experience communicating strategic value propositions via a variety of mediums in a clear concise and compelling manner to senior levels within organisations and to influence successfully and openly.
  • Ability to develop go to market strategies and sales plans with proven results in business growth.
  • Strong negotiating skills and practiced in leading negotiations to influence and persuade, as necessary.
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills to work with teams across the organisation, with cross-functional teams as well as internal teams of departments.
  • Thorough understanding of the Offshore Energy Market developments to create commercial focus and find the best new business opportunities.
  • Be able to use Salesforce or other software to manage and report sales activities confidently
